We summited on September 2nd 2010!!! 2,170.1 miles GA to ME

Well, we did it. What a great feeling it is.
And, Buttercup, according to Applachian Trail Conservency records, the 2nd Japanese female to hike the A.T.

We are both happy and sad to be ending the trail.

We finished the trail and rented a car to visit a couple of friends in New York City and now we are home (home for now), via Greyhound, in Richmond.

We haven't had time to post pics of the end part of our journey. But, We are going to edit our pictures and make a comprehensive ablum of our trip if anyone is interested. We will post it sometime this week I hope.
